1 - So, what is your favorite ice cream? I'll list what I like, and I'm always up for new ideas to try. :)
Bruesters - Blueberry cobbler and Birthday Cake. (I should mention I don't normally like fruit in my ice cream, but this one is totally worth it!)
Coldstone - Birthday Cake Remix (it has brownies in it too. mmmmm)
Bellacino's - Cheesecake
Sonic - Peanut Butter Fudge Shake
Grocery Store - Snickers, Phish Food by Ben and Jerry's, and Cake Batter. Also, anything that looks chunky like and has chocolate. I'm really not THAT picky.
2 - I ran day 1 of week 2 today. 90 seconds really isn't THAT much harder than 60 seconds. I even almost enjoyed it. Almost.
I quake in fear of week 3 though, and I'm not starting it for awhile. In fact, I think I may be on week 2 for at least 2 weeks. 3 minutes just seems like a long time to run.
3 - We haven't traveled at all this year and September starts the busy travel season for us this year. On Labor Day weekend we're flying (!) with both boys to Texas. I'm nervous. We've flown a couple of times with d, and he did pretty well. O hasn't flown and this will be the first time we have 2 littles on the plane. I don't want to be nervous, I would just prefer NOT to get kicked off is all.
Then we drive to Destin, mid September, for a week. That should be a blast!
Then it should be quiet till Thanksgiving, when it's Texas again, I think. Then we're staying home for Christmas for the first time ever!! yay!
All in all, we've traveled less this year than ever before.

I love Blue Belle's strawberry cheesecake ice cream. I also love chocolate with peanut butter.
Chubby Hubby from Ben and Jerry's is the best! By your listed favorites you seem to like the peanut butter/chocolate combination (and who can blame you?) so try Chubby Hubby. Not only is the name terrific, but there are pretzels involved, which may seem weird, but it's got that sweet/salty thing going and so satisfying.
Mmmmm, ice cream. I like to get Breyer's vanilla and put hot fudge sauce on it. Or mash oreos into it.
As long as you seatbelt your screaming children, they don't kick you off. That family that was in the news, the airline said they wouldn't make their daughter wear her seatbelt when she tantrumed that she didn't want to. The family I think claims otherwise, but considering how often I've seen tantruming children on a plane who were NOT kicked off, I believe the airline.
Pretty much, you like cake flavored ice cream. I think you listed three or four. Do you like cake, or just ice cream that tastes like it? :)
cake's alright, but cake flavored ice cream - YUM!
make mine coffee ... preferably with hot fudge on it. (is that why i haven't lost any weight? nah.)
I like chocolate chip cookie dough. Yum!
As for air travel, it should still be OK. Things don't get really hairy until the kids outnumber you and dh. :-D
I lived in St. Paul, MN for a few years, and there is an ice cream place that makes a homemade flavor called Black Hills Gold. It is so awesome, it probably has it's very own 12-step group to help addicts. It was one of the main reasons I was sad to leave that state.
Hey, one thing that helps me when we fly with our boys (never actually flown with both, but it helped with one) is to not make any eye contact with folks on the plane. Because you just KNOW someone is going to look annoyed or put-out, and you totally don't need that crap. So if you don't make eye contact, you can save yourself a whole lot of bad feelings toward the rest of humanity.
I'm with Flibberty--Chubby Hubby is my utmost favorite ice cream EVER.
The last time I flew with a kid, it was only with ONE, and she SCREAMED THE ENTIRE FLIGHTS HOME (as I had to change planes) and would not nurse AT ALL the entire trip. I avoided eye contact as best as possible. But you know what, everyone on BOTH flights was very kind and coming up to me and offering help (one lady kept offering to hold the baby for me. um...I'm a first-time parent all alone with my 5 month old on a plane...No thanks!). It kind of reinforced my faith in human-kind.
My favorite ice cream-type thing is Schwann's Golden Nugget bars. Also, mint chocolate is my all-time fave flavor. Most brands are pretty decent with this one, but I think Baskin Robbins is the best.
At Baskin Robbins, I am rather fond of the cherry cheesecake flavor as well as the Jamocha almond fudge. Delish!
We just got a new Coldstone Creamery in town, so I am currently trying all of their stuff out, but at the Marble Slab, I like Amaretto ice cream with pineapple and coconut. Weird, huh?
